Gala Speaker Dean Staci Simonich

The Oregon Wheat Growers League welcomes Dr. Staci Simonich as the keynote speaker at the Oregon Gala on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Tri-State Grain Convention in Couer d'Alene, ID. Dr. Simonich is the Dean for the Oregon State University College of Agricultural Sciences. Previously, Dr. Simonich held the positions of Executive Associate Dean for the College of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Vice President for Research Operations and Integrity at OSU, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs in the College of Science, and Associate Department Head in Environmental and Molecular Toxicology. She was a Professor in Environmental and Molecular Toxicology and Chemistry at Oregon State University. Prior to joining Oregon State University in 2001, she worked in the consumer product industry with Procter & Gamble.

Oregon Annual Meeting

The Annual Membership Meeting of the Oregon Wheat Growers League has been scheduled for Wednesday November 20, 2024 at 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho (in conjunction with the Tri-State Grain Growers Convention).

Registration to the conference is not required to attend the annual meeting.

The business meeting will include the election of officers, review of 2023/24 Fiscal Year Audit Report, adoption of policies, introduction of the 2025 Board of Directors, and the traditional presentation of the gavel to the incoming President. Members of the Association in good standing are welcome and encouraged to attend.
